Stages:
LMXK
LMXK Stages are equipped with a powerful ironcore linear motor for high force, acceleration and velocity. There are three motor sizes are available to fit a variety of demands and duty cycles. The stages are paired with the HIWIN Q Series SynchMotion™ linear guideways that have a four-row circular-arc contact for quieter operation, and a longer running life. Multiple stage systems are available and have the highest performance when combined with the powerful line of HIWIN motion controllers and E1 series drives.
Features:
Linear motor LMX1E-C stages are equipped with a coreless motor and well suited for applications that require high dynamics and/or accuracy. They are distinguished by their low profile design and zero cogging forces. The travel is measured via optical or magnetic encoders incrementally or absolutely. The linear motor LMX1E-C stages are available in overall lengths up to 4,000 mm.
Features:
- Max. acceleration 100 m/s2 (no load condition)
- Max. speed 5 m/s (no load condition)
- Length up to 4,000 mm
- Peak force 580 N
- Zero cogging forces from motor
- Multiple forcers per stage available
- Encoder options: optical or magnetic, incremental or absolute
LMX1L-S Series
Linear motor LMX1L-S stages are equipped with an iron-core motor, which provides substantial continuous power. The travel is measured via optical or magnetic encoders incrementally or absolutely. The linear motor LMX1L-S stages have a compact design and are available in overall lengths up to 4,000 mm.
Features:
- Max. acceleration 50 m/s² (no load condition)
- Max. speed 4 m/s (no load condition)
- Length up to 4,000 mm
- Peak force 2850 N
- Multiple forcers per stage available
- Encoder options: optical or magnetic, incremental or absolute
LMX1L-SC Series
Linear motor LMX1L-SC stages are complete axes with iron-core motors. Due to the special design of the motor with arrangement of the forcer between two stators (sandwich construction), the attraction forces are canceled. This relieves the load on the guides.
Features:
- Max. acceleration 50 m/s²
- Max. speed 4 m/s
- Length up to 4,000 mm
- Peak force 2850 N
- Multiple forcers per stage available
- Very high power density
- Due to the sandwich construction of the motor, no attraction forces acting on guides
